While I am slaving away at my piece for the Freedom exhibition at the Needle Forge Museum in Redditch later this year, my system administrator has been slaving over his computer to give my website a new look. I had a letter telling me that I have been accepted as a finalist in the last ever Charles Henry Foyle Trust competition. One of [...] I went into the haberdasher’s in Frankfurt after work today to buy thread ready for the thread painting on Dad’s portrait. I took little snippets of all the different fabrics with me. It would appear I used (at least) 33 different fabrics in the portrait. Both are distance learning courses. Both courses are completely online.
