I’ve finished my quilt now for our UYE theme of shadows. It didn’t take me long to decide what I wanted to do. It has turned out as I expected, but now I’m not sure what I think of it. An interesting experiment, but I don’t feel compelled to continue with it. The reveal date is August 31st so until then I can only show the back of the quilt. It does give a little bit away, but not too much. The backing is still from the same old bed sheet that I used to back my last two quilts on my C&G course. There is an amazing amount of material in a sheet!
I can’t wait to see the front! Hmmm…I never thought of a bed sheet for a back. Great idea.
