These are the results of the latest round of dyeing. The image here may be a little dark. They really aren’t as dark as I would like.
But I feel I am going round in circles now with the overdyeing and not achieving any better results for all the time and effort I am expending. So…
I have decided that enough is enough and it is time to stop agonising over the brown (as my tutor Marie told me 
) and to make a start. I have found some more images on the web as inspiration and feel that I can still achieve the results I want with the fabric I have. And if all else fails and I am still not happy when the quilt is finished I can always paint over the offending bits with either acrylic or textile paint.
Time to move on.
