Well the overdyeing didn’t do quite what I expected. Just a wee bit of overkill perhaps?
From left to right:
A piece of red/brown fabric that I had overdyed with blue. Too green.
The second darkest brown from the last post overdyed with blue. Too blue.
The darkest brown from the last post overdyed with blue. Good in parts (like the vicar’s egg).
A piece of dark red/purple fabric overdyed with lemon yellow. Too orange.
A piece of a blueish red shirt of Sqeze’s overdyed with lemon yellow. Too orange.
None of them are the dark brown I am aiming for. More overdyeing? Or capitulate and use commercially dyed fabric? Of which I have none in the exact colour I want either. Decisions, decisions, decisions.
