Today I can show you the rest of my dyeing results. Here is the blue-green gradation, which will be fine for my next piece.

The brown gradation didn’t come out nearly dark enough. I shall have a go at overdyeing at least the two darker ones and some other bits of red-brown fabric that I have. I seem to have the knack of creating reddy brown – so I have quite a bit of fabric to experiment with. My plan is to overdye with blue as I hope that will darken the brown considerably. We shall see. If all else fails Plan B is to use commercial fabric – although I don’t have any quite the shade I would like. So the incentive is there to get this right.

The paler two pieces are nice in their own right and may well make their way into the project too.
Ruth! I love hand dyed fabrics, there is nothing like them in the world. I would have thought your browns turned pink would have needed some yellow too. But I think even your overdyed results are amazingly yummy. Great corner of the blogosphere you have here.
