I loved the concept behind your piece and how you'd developed it, it was good to see your pics here with your explanations. I agree with you, that the level of expertise was astounding and I certainly felt outclassed by the winning piece, which was amazing. Like you, I felt proud to have made it as far as I did, especially as I'm a relative newbie to textile art. It was a really great experience. I look forward to seeing what you do in the future. I too have come away with lots to think about and have mixed feelings about the exhibition. I felt Mary's piece was the clear winner! You mention the levels of the qualifications, well that's just what they are studying now. I believe some already have degrees etc and their current studies are in addition to this, so well done even more!
