I’ve had my nose to the grindstone the last couple of days trying to make some progress on my vase. I don’t think my time estimates are going to be quite accurate. I tell myself it’s because I work on it in small chunks of time so don’t get into the flow 
but that is really just a weak excuse.
Anyway here’s what I’ve achieved so far. The end is finally in sight for the outer surface fabric.
As the piece is meant to show the use of patchwork I have been doing quite a bit of fiddly piecing – including curved piecing. So just for the records here is a photo of the reverse side.
