I was inspired to use the dots by the studs in the door itself. It’s interesting to see how much of the original idea you can take over into the finished piece. I like these kind of exercises the best because you are really learning something new. The sewing of various sample blocks is for me just a task I have to do to move on through the course.

So interesting to watch what you are learning in these modules
and , as in this foundation pieced exercise, your results are most appealing. I really like the dots here and the inset diamonds.
