I have a journal book too, but it's mostly full of things cut out of magazines as I'm not much good at sketching! I've not been keeping it for very long though. I use the word "hints" because I do not copy others works. I have a sketch book that I have kept for over 20 years that I use all the time as a reference. The problem is I have misplaced my book. I used it a couple of months ago so I know it is in the house. My mind has not recovered since losing my mom. I am going to look very hard this weekend.
